Sidenote: I really enjoyed hearing from Tony Blair. Just was fun and one cool line he stated is that he felt like a normal guy when asked about when he first felt like a leader. I thought that was pretty cool.

Last one.

We're gonna watch a video interview of former Prime Minister Blair. This one I'm excited about and what we'll (and myself too) is gonna learn.

Not quite sure why I'm excited still should be interesting.

This Morning's Session

It went from 3rd culture to Africa to a life story.

One thing that I'm taking away: pain leads to passion leads to doing something. My own thought/take away there.

Session 4

We learned about a small company called Kiva lends money to entrepreneurs. Lesson (my take away thought): God can do great stuff even with small amounts.

Our last session was about going against the odds. One word: wow. I'm fired up about doing something now vs. sitting on my butt. Thanks Pastor Carey.

Now just processing the day and will give a full summary later tonight.

Session 3

Take the prodigal parable and flip it on its head. Seriously.

I got some real insights. Younger son only was into the father's stuff. Older was only into the father's stuff.

Both did not want the father aka Jesus.

Older just wanted the money. How did he get it? Did the right things/never disobeyed.

Younger wanted the money. How did he get it? Be totally bad/wrong.

Another insight: it cost the father to have his younger son back. What ya mean you ask? All the new robes, sandals, rings: older brother's things.

Just wow. :)
